Overview

Beautiful orchards, friendly staff, lots of free kids activities and fun wagon ride (that’s stroller friendly)! Very tasty apples. Delicious fresh doughnuts too!

Getting There

The farm is located 65km away from Ottawa downtown, so expect a solid 45min drive in good traffic conditions. There is a huge parking lot right at the farm and also one across the street. It is best to get here early, especially during the Honeycrisp season, but all activities are well-coordinated and the lines are quick even during the busiest time of the day.

Map

There is a tractor ride (free) at the entrance to the farm - tthat takes you to the actual field to pick the apples.

Tractor

There are different sizes of bags, and different prices depending on what's picking, but in general the prices are more or less what you'd pay at a grocery store, but you get the experience and as fresh as they can be apples right from the tree.

There is also a trail (very easy, stroller-friendly) right next to the orchards - not much to see there, but it is a nice walk, mostly in shade of the trees.

Acitivities

There is also a ton of great and free activities at the farm.

Corn Maze is decently sized and quite challenging!

Lake

There is also a playground for kids, straw jump and climbing hills.

Food

There is a kiosk with hot dogs and drinks and some (limited) seating space next to it. There is also a farm store with very tasty donuts, apple cider and small souvenirs.

Summary

Overall, it is very well worth the drive, especially given that it is usually a once-a-year event for the families. You can spend half a day here, and get back home with a bag of great apples.
